Mushroom Casing
Grange Growing Solutions specialises in the manufacturing of Mushroom Casing (casing layer) from our site at Maraylya NSW.
Mushroom casing is a blend of sphagnum peat moss and a sedge peat with additives on customer request including a Fungicide, Pesticide and an Insecticide. Lime is added to balance the pH and water to maintain the correct consistency and is mixed in an auger mixer until homogeneous.
Grange Growing Solutions has specially designed trucks that are equipped with auger mixers. These enable the casing layer to be mixed on site if necessary and unloaded via a side conveyer straight into the farms applicator. The side unload facility also allows the delivery vehicle to access places where other trucks may not.
Upon receipt of your order our customer service team will produce a works order that will detail your specific mix requirements. Once the mix is manufactured a sample is taken and sent to our in house laboratory. These samples are kept for one year and tested if the need arises.
If Grange Growing Solutions is engaged by you we will visit your operation first to ascertain how best we can meet your needs. If one of our existing blends does not meet your needs then we are able to tailor make a mix that you are more familiar with.
